Restaurant Viviry Review

If you haven't had Viviry's Roast Beef dinner, you don't know what you're missing!

After hearing my mom rave about Viviry's delicious, tender, juicy Prime Rib Roast served on Saturday nights, I just had to check it out. My family loves Roast Beef, so my mom made an early reservation for the four of us, making sure we'd be there before the rare slices were all gone. Upon arrival, we were greeted by one of the owners, Christos, who is always very pleasant and accommodating. As we settled into our seats, we admired the various improvements made during recent renovations – the restaurant is still cozy and casual but with a fresh new look. My dad took a few minutes to review the wine list and was quite impressed by the decent selection and reasonable prices. Without looking at dinner menus, we all knew what we'd be having, and as our friendly server took the order for four Roast Beef specials, I was amazed to learn that I was about to be served four courses for less than 18 dollars.

We started off with a basket of bread and a choice of Christos' housemade soup – the potato and leek was excellent! We then had a choice of house or Caesar salad, which were both great, followed by the main course – a generous, thick slice of Prime Rib Roast, cooked to perfection, served 'au jus' with crunchy, steamed vegetables, garlic bread, and a choice of potatoes – the Greek potatoes are amazing! We were then given a choice of dessert with coffee or tea, and we couldn't pass on the carrot cake that we were told was also made by Christos – it was moist and delicious!

Despite leaving feeling very full, I was extremely impressed with the entire evening; our server was delightful and efficient, the Roast Beef was one of the best I've had, and the prices were hard to beat. I will definitely make a habit of going to Viviry and would recommend it as a great place for a casual date, a family meal, or a gathering with friends. The extensive menu is designed to suit many different tastes and features dishes ranging from burgers to brochettes, lasagna to lamb chops, and salads to surf & turf. The restaurant also offers a large selection of breakfast items, and I have just learned that there is a very popular turkey special on Sundays, which I am looking forward to trying.

Hope you get a chance to enjoy a wonderful meal at Viviry!
